Harry Jepson is a final year PhD student in catalysis who studied at Cardiff University. After completing a MChem degree at the University of Southampton, Harry joined the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Catalysis where he conducted his PhD project studying the use of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis in alcohol coupling chemistry, towards the synthesis of biofuels. He will defend his thesis soon and looks to use the research skills he has acquired in his academic career to fight climate change.
