Fangming is a highly specialised chemist with extensive experience in developing sustainable solutions for hard to abate industries. This includes the conversion of waste by products for utilisation in carbon capture and utilisation, sustainable solutions to enhance energy storage as well as chemical solutions to mitigate the effects biogenic CO2 emission on water bodies. She received her PhD from Tianjin University. She has multiple publications and patents focusing on the chemical capture of CO2 for novel utilisation and mitigation solutions.
